Well, a week and a half ago I applied for the U.S. Bank Altitude Connect for the TSA pre-check (and the $500 SUB for $2k spend in four months). I got the dreaded 7-10 business day wait notification when I applied. I tried calling to see what the problem was, but was told until I get my letter, they couldn't help. So, I waited.
I got the letter last night, saying they couldn't verify my identity, and to call the Customer Authentication Department. So, I did that today. I waited on hold for 45 minutes, then was on the phone with them for about 5 minutes while they verified my identity. After that, I was told I would be notified by email or letter in 24-48 hours.
About two hours later I got an email (that went to my spam folder) that i was approved for $15k and would have my card in 4 days. I can't find the APR in the email or the app, so I'll wait on that. But, I was approved.

Wow, a 45 minute hold. Congrats on the card approval and nice SL.
would you mind sharing any of your data points at the time of application?
x/6 and x/12 new accounts
FICO score
congratulations

@calisig Absolutely. Sorry for not putting that in initially.
They pulled TransUnion. I don't know my FICO on TransUnion at the time, but the FAKO on TransUnion VantageScore 3.0 (via U.S. Bank) was 815. My Experian FICO 8 at the time was 837.
I was 0/6 and 0/12 on new accounts. I was one month past 1/12 (U.S. Bank Altitude Go in August 2021). I purposely waited until I was 0/12 to apply for the Connect.
I had three hard inquiries on TransUnion at the time - four after U.S. Bank pulled TransUnion. One from December 2020, one from August 2021 (U.S. Bank), and one from September 2021 (denied for that card - Navy Federal Flagship).
My two other U.S. Bank cards - Cash+ ($14,900 starting limit) and Go ($15k starting limit) - plus a mortgage was U.S. Bank is my history with U.S. Bank. Mortgage is 15 years old.
I hope that helps.
Congrats on your U.S. Bank Altitude Connect Card approval.
