It was about that time i step out of the garden after 13 months and apply for one of my goal cards. Knowing how sensitive U.S. Bank can be to new accounts, I wanted to make sure i was at 0/12 for i could have better odds for an approval. Also back in March i decided to also established a relationship by opening a checking account when they was offering a bonus of $400 when you complete recurring direct deposits of two or more that total $5,000. I left those deposits and bonus sit in the account and made extra smaller deposits the following months.
So after filling out all the info, hitting the submit button, and watching the wheel spin...boom! instantly approved for $12,500 SL, plus a sign up bonus that has increased to $200. I was surprise the app didn't went into manual review has I read is very common for U.S. Bank to do. I was also shocked with the limit i received, which i dont know if the relationship i started with them help in any way.

Congrats on the U.S. Bank Cash+ card! I have always wanted to start a relationship with them but I have an itchy trigger finger and am always floating around 3/12 so I just assume they'll deny me.
