Long time lurker, first time poster. I just wanted to start out by saying that I would have NEVER been on this path without this forum, thank you.

Last night I got an itch to finally pull the trigger and go on an app spree. It was motivated by a requested CLI to my CapOne cards. Other than CapOne I have little credit history; student loans and a few AU cards on my spouces accounts. No baddies.

CLI

Capital One QS1-CLI $300 to $800

Capital One Platinum-CLI $300 to $800

New Accounts

Chase Freedom -Instant approval- $1000

BofA -Denied- counter offer for partial secured $500

Walmart -Instant approval- $700.00 - Recon to $3,500

Amazon -Instant approval- $700.00 - Recon to $3,500

Barclay Apple Rewards -~~Denied~~ even after 4 recons (learned that from this forum) brickwall with them. To many inquiries and AAoA to low. UPDATE: Reconed 8 times through the last 24 hours and because the recon line is 24hrs (866-951-1437) I thought it would be fun to do a midnight call and BAM! I was approved for $2000!

~~Even though I got a denial, I'm still VERY happy with what I got. I'm starting to feel like a real grown up at almost 30.~~ Now off to the garden I go until next year!

Congrats! You did some sweet talkin on reconning those SL lol. Don't worry too much about Barclay. If you really want to get in Id just try again in a few months.

Congrats, and welcome to the forums. You have two few posts to add HTML code to your signature. Do some more browsing and posting, then can add. The thread describing how to make neat signatures with cards is in the smorgasbord sub forum, but posts in there don't count for you to create sig.
