UPDATE!!! How long for cli request on Comenity Total Rewards Visa?

I wonder if the Comenity Total Rewards is different than their other Comenity cards?

After reading a few people have had success with the luv button before the card even arrived, I thought I would try it with my Comenity Virgin America Visa Signature account.

I received the 7-10 day message and got the letter today. It says:

Unfortunately, because your account was recently opened we are unwilling to increase your credit limit at this time. We would like to see a consistent payment pattern established with the existing credit limit before granting additional credit.

I will try again after 6 months!

For now, it makes me want to get the Total Rewards Visa via the Pop Up message!

ugh I want this card if I could get CLI's like these...goodness gracious!!!

They all seem to have different CLI guidelines. Total Rewards and J Crew give regular increases, but MyPoints and Sportsmans Guide and Express require 8-9 months.

Thanks, (it has now been 4 months since my last cli)  I just hit the button now and recieved a 500.00 cli today! 

I will be hitting the button again for the next few days(500.00 increments daily)  to hopefully get my limit up to 8500.00. I will post back with my results

UPDATE!! I have been hitting the LUV button for the  last 6 days straight (500.00 increments daily) and increased my limit up to 8500.00 from 5500.00 (I have had this card for 4 months)

I feel like I'm missing out by not having this card, lol.

I keep going back to total rewards' site every few days to stare at the preapproval.
