US Bank Altitude Connect

Hi, I have been reading posts & comments on this site for around 6 months. Finally joined last week. I keep reading US Bank can be weird about approvals & CLI'S and just wanted to put out there what I have received from them the past 14 months. Approved for the Platinum card last February with a 2K SL. Then in March I was approved for the Cash + as well as the Altitude Go. Both with 2K limits. I had previously had the GO but had closed it the previous year. During the time of approvals I opened a savings account & 2 CD's. Within the last few months I received an automatic CLI on the Cash + of 2K and called in to request a CLI on the other 2 cards. Both accounts received a 2K increase. This March I applied for the Altitude Connect but the next day called to withdraw my application, thinking I just didn't want to deal with another card. A week & a half after that I noticed a hard pull on Equifax & re-called US Bank to see if the hard pull could be removed, and if not just process the application based on that pull. Underwriting agreed to do this and stated to call the next day to see what the approval status was. I didn't even have to. I received the congratulatory e-mail stating my app was approved for a starting 13K limit. So...... I don't know what secret sauce I stumbled upon but my FICO is usually in the low 780's, several other new accounts the last few years, and depending on which credit bureau, between 4 to 7 inquiries. Don't have exact DP's because as stated earlier I just started on this site pretty recently. Not sure if any of this info is helpful, but I wanted to share that I have had pretty good success with this bank.

Congrats! It looks like a great card. US Bank is pretty selective and sensitive to velocity (new inquiries / accounts), right? Also, anyone know if they let you product change? I'd love to get in on the $500 SUB, but I doubt I will apply before that offer is up.
