Did u ask about opening their Safe Debit account? A checkless no overdraft account.

Thanks. No I didn't. I was so in a hurry trying to get out of there thinking they would cancel it out that I wasn't going to ask for anything else. Iwasn't comfortable until I actually activated and made my first purchase lol. I am however going to try to have an account opened after my dispute comes back with chex systems.

At least big banks are getting better about offering "second chance" accounts for people with ChexSystem and EWS issues to get them back into the banking world. Almost all of them offer a checkless, no overdraft option now. I would know the struggle. I burned PNC on a checking account a few years ago and had fallen on self inflicted hard times (moved back home and didn't budget well at all) and my local credit union still won't let me open a checking account ... but they trust me with a $15k credit card, $5k unsecured loan @ 5.99% and pre-approval for a car loan up to $60k for 2.89%. Aaaaand they're the only bank or CU that has denied me a checking account. No other bank, big or small has ever denied me for an account. Wild.

Lol I know what you mean. I got 2 from them 2 years apart all fees from garnishments so I guess a checking is the last thing thy wnt to hand me...

Well I have been using the card like crazy (put 1k on it already) paid down and starting back up again when should I try for a cli or 2nd card?
