US Bank Cash+ Approved 3rd Recon

So like a month or so ago partner and I applied for a joint Cash+ about 1-2 weeks after getting approved for our Business Credit Card and Business Charge Card with USBank.  The Cash+ was denied for to many recently opened accounts.  I called in and had them review it again (with USBank they send it to review again, you can't do it instantly) at about same time we had our local banker reach out saying we are trying to move all our banking over to them but need a personal card too.

Both the banker and my first recon were denied.

Well fast forward a couple weeks and I was driving one day and said what the heck.

I called again and said I'm not understanding how this can't be approved for even $1k when you approved 2 Business Cards = $28,000 and the only denial reason was because of recently opened accounts and 2 of them are you! and my fault for applying a week after the business cards because clearly if all apps had been put in at the same time looks like it would have been approved.

I also said notate I would give up some credit line off the business cards if needed too.

She said she would submit for review again.... fast forward I didn't call back and had not heard anything so figured it was not approved.

Wake up this morning to an alert to change on credit report... log in and it's a new USbank account on EX.

I logged into USBank and there is a new credit card but shows no limit (score 1 in my mind, it's at least $5k because it's signature

I refreshed credit report so I could see the entire account details

looks like Cash+ Approved for $5k

YAY!

they aren't that good... I don't like talking to a "credit" person but it has to be sent off to "the actual credit" to be reviewd but guess it worked in the end!

Congrats! Yeah they've always told me they need to resubmit applications when they deny me. They say they will add notes to the request but the process is odd.

Congrats CA... I am jealous... you are one step further than me    my PC attempt was denied but I will keep bothering US Bank every 3 months until done..lol

Also, partner was primary and me co-applicant and they didn't even pull my credit!
One of the few banks around you can still do joint apps on!!!
