Was approved instantly for 10k @ 7.9 APR.
I have a question:
Now my question is this: I just had applied a couple of days ago and was approved for the Rate Advantage MasterCard @ 10.9 with a SL of 16k. Just today I got this offer on USAA.com for a preapproval of the Rate Advantage Visa @ 7.9. When applying for the MC the other day, I was hoping to get 6.9-8.9 rate and ended up getting 10.9. I saw this offer and instantly though "**bleep**". I had just applied for the MC and now they offer me the Visa @ 7.9. I couldn't resist and applied. I feel the other Rate Advantage card is now USELESS because I don't need two (especially if one is 7.9). Is there anything USAA can do? Like move my CL from my MC to my Visa for a CL of 26k and then close the MC? Has anyone had any luck with such a thing?
Thanks!
Congrats to you on a great rate! Unfortunately USAA will not combine limits at all. You can apply for a hp CLI after six months though. Congrats again!
I thought as much ![]()
I guess I'll keep the other one open and just make small charges on it to keep it open. Oh well!
Thanks!
I am VERY happy with the rate. That rate is like 3% less than their personal loan rate. haha

Congrats. As the other poster said, USAA will not move credit lines around. Also, USAA has a 50k max credit card limit per customer.
Congrats

Well done! Congratulations!
