Mine was just as yours is now. I waited 6 months and finished them off at $50k!
USAA is an AWESOME FI!!!!
Well done Mr G! So I'm curious, there's been a few recent threads (I'll have to dig 'em up) that mentioned going beyond the $50K cap for all revolvers. Was there anything more available when you requested the CLI or did you request only $1K? The 2 CCs I have are at the max (known) exposure so I wondered if there were outliers to the actual cap 🤔
I'm at $80k with USAA with my last CLI 12 months ago. My wife is at $65k with her last CLI also 12 months ago.

Wow that’s good info to know. @ O_G if you don’t mind me asking what is your income?
$220k.
I believe USAA has a stealth tiered membership. I could be wrong, but I do believe USAA utilizes the RHIP system.
When I try to request a CLI or app a new card now, I automatically get an error saying I cannot perform the task online. I think I have reached the limit of their generosity. ![]()
Congrats on the numbers here!!

That is some Navy or BOA like exposure! Most members with USAA on these boards just assumed $50k was the hard cap. But you have proved that theory wrong. Good info moving thanks again. They really make hp’s worth it. Hopefully with time you get to pull some more out of them.
Yeah, I always wondered where people got their information from when they say that maximum exposure for credit cards is $50,000. Maybe a CSR said something to someone once, but we all know how notoriously unclued CSRs can be. And it's extreely difficult to get to talk to anybody directly in their back office or underwriting.
I think people are just used to seeing everybody stopped at around $50k and assumed it was maximum.
