We have life insurance through USAA, and I opened up a checking/savings with them about a year ago, which is inactive, so I was surprised that they sent an email to my husband saying he was pre-approved for a Visa. I was even more surprised that they gave him a CL of $5K. (It's been 6 weeks since our discharge.) My husband is all freaked out, I keep telling him just because we have it doesn't mean we need to charge it up.
