USBank $5K SP CLI

I was able to get my Cash+ from 20K to 25K with a short phone call. It was instantly approved and was asked if I wanted more (HP) but I declined. I was fully expecting either a HP and being declined or a SP and getting 1.5K CLI. Wasn't expecting that. Earlier tonight I also called in and got my Business Cash card increased from 3K to 6K with a SP so i was feeling hopeful.

Before and After:

UsBank Before.PNGUsBank Before.PNGUsBank After.PNGUsBank After.PNG

I have had this card for about a year (no auto CLI unfortunately). My personal checking is also with USBank. Guessing they use TU Fico as that's what they always pulled for me for personal and I'm 752. UTI is at 3%. As a reference point, they pulled Experian when I first opened the Business credit card.

First, BIG Contgrats on CLI!!

Question-- so this was a normal call to US Bank Customer Support? And did you ask specifically for a 5K increase? Did they indicate that it will be an SP before performing a review?

The reason I am asking is that all other recent reports suggest that CLI with US Bank is always an HP (even for $1500, which used to be an SP) so I am trying to understand if there was anything different here that resulted in an SP.

Thanks!!

Thank you all! Both calls were to regular customer service number on back of the cards. I was not able to ask for a specific amount. The brief disclosures they had to read to me informed me they may need to pull my credit report. They don't know that ahead of time. The first lady on the business side made me feel like I won the lotto. She was like, Wow, I've never seen that before, Congrats. That was for the 3K CLI. The guy on the personal side for my Cash+ didn't seemed phased by it.
