It was a late night... I have a huge utility bill coming up, and the only card that has 5% back on utilities is the Cash+ card. So, what the heck, for $275 back with signup bonus, why not. Applied and immediately said to myself "dummy, you have too many new accounts - they'll never approve you."
That was Thursday evening, and today (Monday) get the "welcome" email. Well I'll be **bleep**. $9k CL isn't close to most of my larger limit cards, but it will do. And 15 months 0% to boot.
DPs: Pulled Experian, 809 score. 10 INQ last 24 mos, 3 in last 12 mos (2 were for car). Here's why I was surprised: 4 new accounts in last 12 mos (3 in last 6).
It appears that 1 in 12 new accounts isn't a deal breaker afterall! I've got a BMW card with sister company Elan for over 4 years, perfect history, so maybe that had a positive impact?
Congrats!
Congrats on the approval
Congratulations on your approval!
Congrats on the great approval!
Very nice all the way around, congrats on your new approval!
Congrats on your U.S. Bank Cash+ approval

Congratulations on what looks like a great card. And I don't think their rules are set in stone like Chase's 5/24. Just general recommendations that you should be 0/6, 1/12 or better when applying. Grats on beating that.

Congrats on the approval!
Congratulations on your US Bank Cash+ approval!
