Is the Optima in your block the original or rebuilder? I've not met anybody else with the original which was AMEXs first credit card.

It's the rebuilder. Definitely not cool enough to have the original!
Thank you for this info! I have this card and generally only use when I have a vet bill, then pay off from insurance once reimbursed. However, after a long time of non-use they seem to drop my CL with no notification. I never thought of using it to pay the monthly premiums, I will switch to that!
Also, was the CLI a SP or HP?

FYI, I'm not sure if all pet insurances accept CareCredit for premium payments. I have Pets Best, and I chose them specifically because they did.
And the CLI was a SP ![]()
Yay, I have Pet's Best also! Thanks for the info ![]()
Care credit just closed my $3000 account. I only used it once last year for my dental care. They didn't warn me, and it was my third synchrony card. I couldn't care less since it doesn't hurt my utilization, and I paid the card off pretty quickly. I was debating whether to close the card or not. So care credit made the decision for me.
Congratulations on your Care Credit CLI!
