Woohoo! Yay!
Thanks...I went ahead and moved some of my SW line since I won't be using that and at the end of the year, I'll move the rest. And I know there have been threads about the mastercard so as a fyi, they also product changed it to a World MC for me right away, no wait period and they're expediting the card. Awesome customer service!
Congrats on the recent approvals!!!
While I'm sure you've considered what's best for you and your family, I just wanted to encourage you to watch the rates as well as housing cost over the next few months. While you may save more money if you wait until Spring 2015 to purchase, that additional savings may not amount to full value if the rates and housing cost continue to rise. Just merely a suggestion and I make it knowing you may have already taken that into consideration but still wanted to throw it out there. Either way best wishes.

Thanks, greatly appreciated. It's so nice that everyone here looks out for everyone beyond credit!
I will look this June, but knowing that I have the option to save more to avoid PMI all together if I wait until Spring 2015 gives me an incintive as well. I feel like I'm in a really good position where I can really find what I'm looking for and should it not come up this Spring, there is an added bonus to 2015, even if the rates do raise even more. We'll see...either way, I'm done apping for sure now as there isn't anything else I want/need so it shouldn't effect me come June this year should I run into the perfect house!
Sounds like you've got a good solid plan A & B; the best kind of all.
I know that itchi feeling of applying for cards until i started getting denied for too many applications. I talked to CHASE & DISCOVER and they said the main reason of me getting denied is too many apps.
today i complete 2 months in Garden. Dont feel that itch anymore. Next app will be in February next year when i will be in market for a new car. Thinking of going with Capital One first as i opened two credit cards with them this year around April and paying them full every month.
How many inquiries are considered "too much" and in what time frame?
@jlfce1 wrote:Only 2 weeks in the garden and I'm having issues....I was approved in July for the SW Premier, but since the CSP offers the same 2 point for SW and I've already met my spending for the SW 50,000 pts, I really won't have much need for it so it's sitting in the sock drawer. I figured if I did get the CSP, I'd close the SW before the Annual fee next year and move the CL to my Freedom (I've had this card since 2005).
I was originally planning on buying a house in Spring but I've decided to wait until Spring 2015 to allow me to save more money to put towards my house. I'm sitting in a really good rental situation that is a good fit for me and my daughter.
I just recently opened an Amex BCE (August) so I'm not sure what that would look like at this point either.....I thought I was set to sit tight but I realized I would benefit more from the Sapphire than the SW Premier now that I've received the bonus points. I don't have an issue with waiting to apply, but I just don't want to miss the 40,000 bonus they're offering if this card will benefit me. My SW is the only travel card I have and I'd really like to start saving all these benefits to work a trip in once my daughter turns 4 in less than a year.
Can you all do your thing and make your arguments to TRY to shake some sense into me?
Had to call in because I added an authorized user.
****Approved with CL 7K - I guess it was meant to be.
Congrats
