Update: Discover IT Approved Instantly! Should I try for AMEX?

Just applied for a Discover IT and was instantly approved online. Not long ago I paid off all my credit cards so I'm sure that had something to do with it.

Just called up and they gave me a $15,000 limit  My highest limit yet!!!!

Discover             (Limit $15,000 - Balance $0)

Wells Fargo       (Limit $10,000 - Balance $0)

US Bank             (Limit $5,000 - Balance $0)

Capital One       (Limit $3,000 - Balance $0)

Capital One       (Limit $1,200 - Balance$0)

Credit One         (Limit $400 - Balance $0)

First Premier     (Limit $300 - Balance$0)

UPDATE #1: Should I try for an AMEX card as well? I have kind of always wanted one for their charge cards. If I got approved for Discover for $15,000 what are my odds?

UPDATE #2: On Experian my credit score was 643 after I paid all my cards off it is now 682. Thoughts on the AMEX with those scores?

This is probably(preety sure) that I have read that about anybody getting approved for such a decent CL. Congrats and welcome to the forum!

Thanks for posting your TL details...What I can take away is: Discover likes to see less number of TL and less % on util.
