Rang in the new year with the only card I will probably pick up in 2025. the Venmo credit card, since I decided I wanted to switch up the payment method for some of my bills this year to try and get more cash back. However, I kicked myself the instant I applied; I should have waited for a sign-up bonus, but I didn't think of that in time. What's done is done. Approved for a $12k limit, which takes my total CL over $200k. It's not something I especiallyaspired to, but worth noting nonetheless. Synch pulled TU, which I was a little surprised by, but it's just as well as I have far fewer inquiries on that bureau than Experian.

That’s Terrific!! Congratulations on your Approval!!👏🏼🍾🥂
This is the card that I use exclusively at Costco (unless I have a rotator that gives me 5%). Best 3% Costco card out there.

Congrats on the new card.

Congrats on the approval!
Really? I think I'll look into the offers they been sending me. What other good category makes it worth it?

Check it out...

Costco codes as Grocery on this card, so if you used it as your grocery only card, it would be 3% across the board. It may work well for others under a different category.

Congratulations on your Venmo approval!
Congrats! You going to use it to pay utilities? I almost went the Venmo route for that, but decided to use Huntington Voice instead.

Yes, I'll be using it for my cable/internet monthly bill, plus a couple streaming charges that I want to switch from the Altitude Go, since they auto-charge so close to the end of the month that I'm not always able to get the thing paid before US Bank reports. The Venmo will give me a little more wiggle room on the calendar, at the very least.
