Verizon Visa Approved with Data Points

Approved during sign up of Verizon service. $1500 was an insult.  Any advice on recon for more? Now or wait for card?

Total Sync exposure 24500 or 18% of total exposure.

Willing to curb 2 of my other sync cards to make more room on the Verizon.

10/24 and 9/12.

Thanks!

Congrats! Wow, Sync is something. You have some great limits! You can call at anytime to ask, they SEEM to only do a SP. Did you have some kind of baddie or many new accounts upon approval?

Re: Verizon Visa Approved with Data Points

Congratulations on your approval!!

I started at $2,500.  This card grew pretty quickly for me.  First SP CLI was 6 months, then subsequent ones at 3 month intervals.  I was annoyed at the time but figured I'd use it for Verizon charges and gas for the most part, so I just let grow with CLIs.

Congrats on a Approval!

Synchrony is NOT known for recon.

Best thing you can do is use it and hit the CLI button in 6 months.

However I would use caution  .. if you have a lot of SYNCB exposure/high utilization/seeking new credit.

The bear does not like to be poked!

Re: Verizon Visa Approved with Data Points

Thanks for the responses. I will just grow it organically.  IF I recall my Amazon one was $3500 at it's beginning which is nearly a year old and I already grew that to 10k.

No baddies, but low Average Age of accounts. All cards except my Costco is less than 2yrs old. And 2 new cards in last 3 mo.

I think that's why my limit was low.  For me, it was at the tail end of my app spree.  4th card in two/three months.

My first CLI (at 6 months) was 50% of my credit limit, the next two (every thee months) were ~2x CLI's; the last one, I just asked for 2K more which was a mistake on my part.
