Virgin Red Mastercard instant approval

I haven't posted in ages but I've peaked in from time to time.  Came across the Virgin Red Mastercard and checked here and only saw one approval.  A few years ago Synchrony shut down all six cards I had with them ($106,000) because I was considered risky.  You all know the drill (i.e. no balances/pay in full yada yada yada).  Well about a year ago I ventured back in with the Sam's Mastercard and six months ago with PayPal Mastercard.  Those two are 10k and 20k respectively.  Well I like the perks of this card with the 40k points they say is enough to get you from JFK to London, 5k free points at each anniversary, no foreign transaction fees and up to 10k in points for adding AU's.  All for only a $95 AF.  I was going to wait until February after I get my Sam's up to that 20k.  I couldn't wait so took the dive and went for it.  Thawed TU and hit the button.  10 second wheel spin and BAM!  Virgin Red.jpg

congrats and enjoy the approval.  Just wish they would of choose a different issuing bank although never personally had an issue with sync.

Thank you.  Yes that did give me some initial pause too  but the benefits outweighed that drawback for me, at least temporarily.  This will be my last Synchrony card with the hopes of staying in their good graces this time

I do like that you can use these points with Delta as well
