This past Friday I was approved for the Wells Fargo Bilt Rewards card. I was 0/6, 0/12, 0/24 when I applied. My starting limit is 10K and interest rate is 18.49%. I'm not especially impressed by metal cards, but it's attractive and came in a nicely designed box. That being said I only got this card for the rent rewards: I'll get at least 32K points for that reason in the next year.
Activating the card was a pain. I called the phone number provided, which played a message saying I needed to activate online. The card wouldn't activate for some reason so I called another WF number and got transfered around a bit before someone could activate the card for me.

You don't have to activate by phone, but that was the first method I tried. In the packaging underneath the card is a printed message with a phone number, a website (wellsfargo.com/confirmbilt) and a QR code. For some reason the website activation didn't work for me and I had to call the general purpose WF customer service number.

This is an excellent card. It is a free card and it is even better than the $95 Chase Sapphire Preferred card. I'm going to close out CSP card.

I cut my CSP. Only leave one CSP in the family for transfer. BILT is the way to go. Free card. More transfer partners than Chase has.
