Applied for the card on a Sunday. Got the 7 day we need more info pop up instead of instant approval. Called on Monday AM to see if they needed additional info. Guy said I was already approved and the card would be mailed. Checked my WF app and there it was with a 12k limit. Two days later and I still dont have a credit ding or alert.
A few data points:
Oldest account is like 18 years. IDK AAoA
No Inq on TU or EQ and 4 or 5 on EX
All ficos around 830
Utilization less than 1%
Total personal limits around 200k and same for business.
I have one account at WF I keep 1k in and it literally NEVER gets used for years. Its the only account ive ever had with them.
I have probably around 30 cards total including personal and business
I didnt know WF did soft pulls? Anyone else have a similar experience or am I missing something? It would be great if I could pick up the other cards with a soft pull.
They don't do SP's.. Likely a delayed EQ hit is my guess. Congrasts on the approval though.
Congrats on the Signify but alas, that HP should be reporting at some point.

Congratulations!
Interesting data point; WF has been known to occasionally do soft pulls for existing customers with strong profiles, but it’s not something they advertise or guarantee. Your long history, low utilization, and existing WF relationship likely worked in your favor here. Others have reported similar experiences, though results can vary. It’s worth checking if they’ll do the same for other cards, but be prepared for a hard pull just in case.
