Sighs....finally got the Discover Card in the mail, called the 1-866-611-1148 to 'speak" with a rep. I didnt want to activiate the card so I chose this number instead of the "activation" number...well it activated it automatically before giving me to a live person I answered a few questions, he said it was odd the new card came with a lower balance of credit than my walmart had, he said it would be a SP to try and get me more...denied.......said I will get a letter in the mail. Closed the conversation with him telling me all the great benefits of the new card blah blah while in my mind I am thinking hope this card enjoys my sock drawer
I will use my other Discover like I always do. The upgrade did get my son his first real charge card, he's ben an authorize user on the wally card. I added him to it to minimize any damage he might have done being new to credit lol.....he was quite responsible so I am glad he will have the Discover now.......

Congrats on the upgrade and yes a CLD does sometimes occur on an upgrade as they consider it a new account I have denied the upgrade multiple times I have no use for their Discover as I have the real one and one more issued by another bank. Use it for the next 4 months then call Credit Solutions for the CLI.
