Today's FICO 8 scores are in my sig, whether you're on the desktop or the mobile site. I've read on this forum the other night that 650 TU is key for manual CLI request. And 700 TU also. I've been here for about one year now, and I hate to sound like I'm new to this, but......
Anyone think I have a shot at a CLI via Credit Solutions? I'm going to PIF this account and three other revolving accounts in 2-3 weeks when my tax refund arrives. I should be above 700 across the board 30-40 days afterward. I would request a CLI again at that time. The matter I'm addressing is whether I could pull off a CLI with a 635 TU FICO 8 score at the moment.
Please and thank you.
You could have a problem with Synchrony NOT using a current FICO8 score, and using one from months ago. Someone else just posted earlier today about them using a score from 12/2015 for their CLI
I've had that experience. I have every CLI denial letter. Some of the TU scores were almost 2 months old in some cases. I forgot about this possibility. Thank you for sharing.
UPDATE: Credit Solutions gave me the finger. The rep assured me he was pulling a new report. I asked for 10k. He said he couldn't up the limit at all "at this time." Oh well. I'll try again in May. I'm PIF 6 revolving TLs (possibly 7).

Sorry to hear about the denial. Once you pay your cards in full, and wait until they all update the new balances on your credit reports, then you can try credit solutions again. You'd be surprised how much your scores are affected by high util. Once the util is way down, you should see a pretty big score increase.
Just as a data point, my EX dropped 89 points when my Utilization went from 2% to 67%
