Walmart Store Card

If you apply and get approved with a small limit ($500 or less), are the chances good that u could call and get an increase to $800-$1k?     Just curious for people that have applied and gotten the card before.

I'm curious about this too. I applied, got approved and received a low limit. $300. it's the lowest limit card I have and i have to admit I was pretty taken back by this CL

i went from $150 to $2500 in 2 months.  call em' up

I'm assuming I'll have to wait until I get the card though right?   My first store card and only one I really wanted for now.

Same here.    Just wanted one store card and chose this one.     Just didn't expect that low of a limit but heard the limit can grow quickly.   I'm trying to see how quickly!

@  try now and if you need to wait for the card they will kindly let you know. tell them you want some tires, phones, or whatever you need @ 0% and want to use it for your monthly groc spend and ask for 10k to keep util low.

Just spoke with someone and after being put on hold, they came back and told me it couldn't be raised at this moment.  Would receive a letter in the mail et etc.    not sure if I should try back tomorrow or just wait on the letters.   

Im not that worried with the limit as I just wanted one store card. however I def expected a bigger limit.  I'm sure after a few months it wIll be better.

Welcome to the Walmart family. Request a CLI via chat which had been working wonders lately. On Friday I went from $900 to $3,500 via chat. Had my card since March 2014 started at $600.

I tried to get more and was told NOPE when I first got mine.  I'm waiting for 4 months and will do it again.  I believe the reason for me was we need to see more usage and history before we can do.
