Walmart increase

Tonight I called to see why my payment hadn't posted which she explained sometimes it take up to 48 hrs.  after my intial reason for calling I asked her well how long before Im eligible for a credit increase.  she replied I can put in a request for you.  I thought it was a hard pull and she advised me that it wasn't.  So, I said since it was a soft pull I'll go ahead and do a request.  After her income spill, she asked how much i told her 5000 then she said from 150 to 5000 my intial thought was not got to happen, then she said Congratulations your new available credit is 5000 with availble credit of 4935. I tried a cpl of times since when I were first approved. I've only had this card a month. This is my biggest TL as of yet.  this is going to drop my overall uti to 10%. cant wait to get increases on cap one, freedom, and slate cards.

Congrats on the CLI!!  I wish I knew about this when I first was approved for my Walmart store card in October 2015.  My starting CL was only $800 and I was a bit disappointed but I was just happy to be approved since I was still rebuilding.  

My CL is now $6k but I have been unable to be approved for another CLI - not really sure why.

One piece of advice - if they approved your request that means you left money on the table.  You probably could have received a higher CL.  For example - my CL was $1.5k (they previously gave me an auto CLI from $800 to $1.5k after 5 months) and I asked for a CLI to $10k.  They came back and said they could only approve me for $6k - but in reality this was fine because I was really only hoping to get $5k.

That's awesome, congrats! I'm hoping to get a CLI on my Wal-Mart soon as well, but I've also only had it one month. My first statement hasn't even cut yet. My CL is $300, so I'd like to increase that quite a bit lol

HAPPY FOR YOU OP!! @jonmark your time will come. Last year when i finally got my Walmart, $150 limit .
Like Gdanzy said, wish i found this place sooner. But after awhile they did increase me but CS finally approved me $6000. Like many others not sure where is that border to cross to get higher limit. Congrats again!!
