I was recently approved for a Walmart store Credit Card, but it was for a measly 300$. My score was 540 when I applied but that was because of the baddies. I just fixed them a few days ago and had a Fico score of 720 so I figured I'd ask for 1200 as that's a lot more fair. I got denied through the online system but called and requested that and was approved! 4x CLI. I should of did more but didn't wanna be greedy!

unlike walmart you probably took a hp for chase, I would call back and ask for $10k and get them to counter you a lower amount... if they approve your whole amount then you didn't ask for enough
