Hello folks, since this forum is addictive, I aap'd for the Walmart gemb card against my willpower. I didn't get the discover card but was instantly approved for a $500 store card. I was so scared to see a 7-10 day message but was pleasantly surprised when I was approved!! Never in my wildest dreams would I be happy to receive a $500 limit card since I had many $10k plus CL's in the past! This is so humbling.
Myfico TU score at time of app was 649 with 3 closed accts with baddies. Worst is my FIA that has 23 baddies with 120+ in 2011. No CO and no other derogs. There is even a 30+ late in March 2013. I know I should've waited until My GW letters worked, but again I was antsy.
Well now I'm officially off to garden my CC's and continue sending GW letters to clean the rest of the baddies. I will now search the forums to see when i can request a CLI!
