Thanks! @Applepro1990 Forgive my ignorance but I'm pretty new to credit cards/companies. (didnt even realize there was a transition) Is Comenity a better lender than Citi?
Depends on what you consider better. The main draw for comenity is you can grow the limit extremely fast. In my case, I took a 4 or $500 limit to $3300 in a few months with SPs. Depending on how Citi treats the cards, it can grow that fast also, or it could be like their home depot card where people can't get an increase from their $500 approval for years after many HPs.
@Brian_Earl_Spilner I see. Thank you for the clarification, I'll keep that in mind with future CL expectations.
Congratulations on your Approval..
@Anonymous"Wish I'd found this site sooner. Lots of helpful information here!"
I think that could be said for most of us here.
Congratulations on your Wayfair Mastercard approval!
Comenity was a way better lender. They were way more generous with SL and CLI. Citi tends to be more conservative with SL.

I get it, Im sure that can be frustrating for a lot of members here. In my case I'm just thankful to be given a rebuild chance. Prior to the Cap One card all I had on my file was a car lease paid off, $8k in school loans and six fraudulent accounts I wasn't even aware of for two years. A couple of which I'm still fighting to get removed with TU and EX. (EX in particular is the devil)
Maybe in a year or two I'll be more concerned with high limits but for now I'm focused on creating positive relationships with major lenders and conservatively choosing cards I'll actually use. Could have been a far worse start given my initial scores were 586, 554 and 528. Yikes
Congratulations on your approval!
Congratulations on your approval!!
Congrats on approval! We haven't seen many posts here about the new Citi Wayfair MC. A good number of active members had accounts through their old lender, Comenity.
