Welcome back Fidelity

A couple years ago when I had the Fidelity Amex and Fidelity decided to switch from BofA to Elan Financial, I decided to jump ship (bad mistake I would find out later) and switch to another BofA account.  At that time, I transferred $71,000 from Fidelity Amex to another BofA card.  This worked for about a year's time then BofA started cutting my limit down and down because I wasn't using the card and other available credit.  I eventually went from 71k to 11k.  I ended up closing the BofA account.  Last night I was trolling the US Bank website and there were no prequal's for me.  I eventually migrated over to Fidelity and through caution to the wind.  They called to do a fraud verification this morning and I just called back this afternoon and the card was approved.  I did a 3k BT with the application.  The automated system asked if I wanted to do another BT.  I figured probably not since I don't know the limit and my other US Bank cards are only (7500, 7000, 1500, 1500).  Based on these limits I wasn't expecting much from Fidelity.  To my surprise, I was informed that the Fidelity was approved for (drum roll) a whopping $21,000.  This is really odd because I can't get a CLI increase on my existing US Bank cards.  Well they did give me an auto CLI on my Cash+ card a couple months ago from 5k to 7k.  Other than that, it's always a no go with US Bank.  I also opened up a Flexperks Gold four months ago with the 7500 limit.  I'm excited.

Re: Welcome back Fidelity

Congrats 12!! You say you through caution to the wind? I didn't realize caution was in your vocabulary.Smiley LOL

Caution and 1.2 million dollars in open TLs don't belong on the same page. lol

Just joshing you man!!! That's a great come back. I closed my Fidelity in 2016 before it ever arrived. Maybe one day I'll try my luck again.
