Logged into my WF account today and noticed a $400 auto cli.........
This was my 1st cc considering being an international student and they started me with a $500 CL.
I have always PIF, no over limits, no lates. It was secured till they decided to graduate a few months ago. I can't complain too much about a $400 cli but gosh, is WF too stingy when it comes to CLI's?
I just wish I could close this card but I guess keeping it for another year while gardening my other accounts wouldn't hurt.

Yes, WF can be very conservative when it comes to auto-CLIs. On the upside, you received one which is always good news OP. You'll be surprised how many other folks see their WF cards with no movements whatsoever...in years! So keep doing what you're doing - it's obviously working.
Thanks MJ and FinStar.....
I am definitely seeing progress as far as my scores and my credit history building. I had no idea about the importance of credit building until I found this forum. While other's might prefer their daily morning newspaper, my first read of the day is "myFICO Forums"....![]()
Congrats! Thanks for sharing!
Congrats on the CLI. Wells Fargo was my first credit card as well, I believe it started at a $1200 limit for me. I've had it for about 2 and a half years now and it's only at $2800. I have received 1 CLI by calling in and requesting it, and 2 other auto CLIs for $400 each.
Congrats to your progress ![]()
Thanks myFico fam......Happy Holidays
congrats
