Wells Fargo Autograph CLI

Yesterday, I got a massive 3x CLI from Amex and decided to try my luck with WF this morning. My last CLI was on March 26th and I was under the impression I had to wait 6 months between increases. Called in, updated my income, verified my housing payment, and requested a new CL of $10k knowing that WF would counter lower. I was trying to get my card above the $5k mark. 

 

I was approved for a CLI of $3600 bringing my credit limit to $8,400 -- a 75% incease!

 

Aug 2022 - $2,500 credit limit (stuck there for at least 5+ years and I never requested a CLI)

Sep 2022 - $700 SP CLI --> $3200 CL

Mar 2023 - $1600 SP CLI --> $4800 CL

Aug 2023 - $3600 SP CLI --> $8400 CL

 

If I hadn't found this forum and learned about SP CLI requests, I'm this card would still be at $2500 CL. Thanks MF!
