My wife and I are riding on the A train it seems. We had to file a BK7 back in Dec 2017 (Mar 2018 discharge) because f my medical bills and we have been building. Friday the 30th we both applied for a lowes card (denied due to BK7 filing) We get home and apply for Discover I am approved for my 2nd card at $10k my wife is approved for her 2nd Disco @ $7.5k. I also applied for PenFed approved for $7.5k and my wife applied for her 2nd CapOne card approved at $3k. I applied for a USAA and was denied due to BK7.
My wife wakes me up this morning saying she got an email from CapOne that said her card received a CLI to $6k. She has not even got the 2nd card yet! I thought she may have hit the love button but on the email there is a section that says if she does not want the CLI to do this or that. I then thought it was her original card but she graduated the credit steps back in May 2019 so it has not been 6 months.
Her scores are 680 - 702. This just seems crazy a CLI before she even gets the card! We never expected to be where we are at now after filing the BK7.
