Re: Why, Hello Amex

I got tired of waiting for you to get back to the garden so I drank the rest of your beer.  Sorry, not sorry.

Re: Why, Hello Amex

I am more impressed that you can live in California on 62k income with a $500/month car payment.

But, congratulations on the new card!

Super Congrats on your Amex Delta Gold $1,000 SL!!! Smiley Very Happy

What an absolutely terrific story! When you do the right thing, the right things happen. Smiley Very Happy

BTW, I must say that I'm as equally impressed with your PayPal 2% MC

approval with a TU 598 as I am with your Amex Delta Gold EX 641. I use

PayPal all the time, and your approval score is the lowest I've seen here in

the forum. So your example is helping more people than you think. Smiley Very Happy

Congrats again on getting back in with Amex. You should be

very proud of yourself. Thanks so much for sharing!!! Smiley Very Happy

Thanks, the PayPal was another spur of the moment, why the fico not moments. Sync won't approve me for any of their store cards, but they gave me a $700 limit on the PayPal. Then there's Discover who won't approve me for a new card or graduate my secured, but I got in with amex?

Welcome back to Amex and i hope you finished that beerSmiley Happy🍺🍺🥓🥓🥓🥓

I was actually in bed and half asleep when I apped. The last couple I tried, the wheel spun for less than 30 seconds before the denial. But it wasn't until I got the au page where I was waaaaaait a minute. And you're right. Until you get back in with someone who blacklisted you, you can't imagine the feeling.

Welcome SkyMiles member, and thank you for flying Delta. Seriously, this is awesome news. Welcome to the Amex family and great job on your rebuild! MQMs and MQDs only come into play if you’re going for elite status, but you should have picked up enough of that through osmosis in the Garden Club.

No, I won't be going for any of that. I tried to make an account, but I guess I have to wait until my new card gets here?

You missed the part where I own my house outright. It's a small house so even taxes are only 6k.
