Sooooo, I have a regular Platinum Mastercard with NO rewards that I've had since May 2012. I went to the website chat to inquire about combining my regular MC with my Quicksilver One and the agent said NO! Sooooo, I asked if Capital One was able to do a PC and the agent instructed me to check online. I instructed him that I already did to no avail. He then said that they check throughout the year to see if the account is available for upgrades, yada, yada, yada. I responded with: "Ok thanks, maybe I'll have better results from your Executive Office." Well his tune INSTANTLY changed!!! He said, I can check again. My response was SURE, please do. He transferred me to another online agent and low and behold my regular Platinum Mastercard is now a Quicksilver with NO annual fee! Totally WINNING!!!

Tremendous! You go girl! I am so sick of Crap1 negativity, not so much for myself because they are history forever after a year in Oct with my GM BuyPower joke of a card limit ($600) Pffft! But it thrills me to no end that you persisted with them and GOT A REAL RESULT!

I was encouraged enough to call the EO and got my annual fee waived permanently and 1.5% cash back rewards added to my Capital One Platinum. Two thumbs up to Capital One, their EO customer service is awesome!!!!!!!!!
