Been trying the love button since I got the card and kept getting the "you must call" message. Bit the bullet and called. Rep said they would try soft pull first. Ended up transferring mme to an analyist who aasked me a couple questions from the soft pull and boom! Went from 1300 to 2500. Very easy process.

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Congrats...I try this once per month with NO results...! I'll have had the IT card for one year in February.

I got mine in may of 2012 and had only one auto cli of $300. It had been sitting at $1300 for a long time.

Congrats on your CLI The last time I talked to them they wanted to do a HP and i said no. The Rep said she would make a note on my file that i was looking for a CLI . She also said they do a Manual review at the 1 yr mark which is Jan 2014. Got my fingers crossed

Hi first post. First day on forums and I see a lot of discussion of the luv and CLI. The benefit is a credit limit increase without inquiries? Discover is in my top 3 I am conisidering this month.

Congrats on the successful cli from DISCOVER.

@ the other DISCOVER card holders sitting in limbo with no results yet. Next month i get to place a request for cli since it will be 6 month annivers. I was just turned down in Dec. via SP and declined the HP they suggested.

I won't tolerate being suppressed to my starting limit for any extended period if they refuse when i permit a HP.

Credit Unions i deal with now offer infinitely better and reasonable APR rates as well as generous limits and automatic increases to boot.
