Funny thing is, I just had a call with an Amex small business representative, as I have several of the small business cards. She told me that she had checked earlier today and that if I attempted a $250,000 charge on my Business Platinum card, the charge would be approved. 
Anyone need anything?

Curious, what does your annual spend look like on your Biz Plat or total across Amex ?
It's nowhere close to $250,000
Doing some quick addition in my head, it's probably between $50k and $60k.
