can you get a BOA cli twice? **update**

hey guys, I just got a BOA cli about 2 weeks ago, it was a HP but I went from $5k to $11.6 so i was happy with that, during our conversation (with the CA)

she did mention that BOA uses the same credit report for 30 days, so from what I understand anything needing a CR or HP if done within 30 days they will use that same report and now pull a new one or get another HP, am I right? 

also, since they will use the same CR, can I request a CLI again? maybe with the love botton or call in again? has anyone done this? I kinda remember reading about somthing simular but cant remember.

If nothing significant has changed (ie. income/profile/usage on the card) from the last/most recent CLI request, they will likely decline the request...YEMV.

I think it's UNLIKELY that BofA will give 2 CLI to the same account on one HP CLI granted within 30 days.  However, BofA gave me 2 different $5K CLI on 2 different cards (a Cash Rewards BofA card and my Merrill Lynch + card), both within 24 hours, on the same HP.  YMMV

well, my 30 days was up on 12/21 so I called in and spoke to a CA, mentioned that they gave me a CLI almost a month ago bla bla bla, I mentioned that I would like to do a balance transfer as I have a offer of 0% APR till 5/15 etc. she told me that they can still use the same CR that they pulled on 11/21

she asked how much I wanted I asked for $20k again.... she came back with $14,000! I said ok... so I went from $5000 to $14000 with only 1 HP! 

now, I will add that when I got the first one, I was carrying a $4000 balance on my BOA 321 since it was the middle of my cycle, I have since paid that on 12/08

so since my last CLI a payment of $4633.51 was added since then plus in reality another month of history. 

I must say, BOA has shown me some love!

Congrats! That was really smart on your end   Wish I would have known this when I requested my first cli with them back in June.
