chase saphire preferred automatic credit limit increase

I just recieved an automatic credit limit increase on my chase saphire preferred card.. I ve only had the card 3 months now, it started as a 6000.00 credit limit, and it just got bumped up to 9800.00... i'm very happy with it, but was under the impression that chase just doesn't do this... especially after only 3 months of use.. has anyone else had this kind of experience with chase?... I do use the card quite a bit,, maybe charge between 2 and 3 thousand a month on it, and always pay in full before statement date... making 2 or 3 payments throughout the month... just wondering if anyone else has a similar experience...

Congrats! I hope that happens to my CSP! I just got approved for $8.5k and I plan to charge the same amount as you ever month and pay in full.

basically that's all i did... paid like mid month and then again like 4 days before statement closes...I was sure from what i've read about chase that they aren't overly generous about automatic increases.. and any other increases with them are hard pulls, .. i do give it plenty of everyday use though.. it's my 2nd favorite card behind citi thank you preferred.. .which will always be my favorite, because they gave me a 16000 dollar limit right off the bat, and i never even had a citi card.. i was a new cusomer... so they win!

but my chase saphire preferred is a close 2nd... good luck with yours!
