discover approval & cl question

I finally got approved for a decent credit card! I received an invitation to apply for the Discover iT card last week, and decided to pull the trigger, and was approved online. However, there was no where that told me my initial credit limit??? A little confused at first, I continued to setup my online account, overwhelmed with excitement. Now at least a can stray away from first premier and credit one... Finally. Anywho, while setting up my online account it asked me to set credit balance reminders of which followed at the following denominations, 800, 1400, and 1800. Now my assumption is my initial CL would most likely be 2k. My guess. But curious if anyone else had experience with them not telling you right away?? I know calling is easiest but I'd rather they not reconsider my app.

Wait till you recieve the card in the mail.

Have to admit they did an Awesome job on packaging the card.

I would call them they will tell you the limit. They just like you getting card with letter saying Congrats and your limit is...

Just check the online approval status thing, should tell ya the credit line there. At leas it did for me!

I'm pretty sure your limit is 2k.

From what I've seen so far, that balance alert is 90% of your CL.

Drum roll please...... And it's CL 2k. . It's a start. Do they auto cli? Timeframe?

Congratulations on getting the card, when i check my status it still says pending even though they just sent me an email saying my card is on the way lol.

I got an auto cli after 6 months. They love to see usage!

Discover recently changed their CLI timetable. If eligible you can ask after 3 mos instead of 6.
