Been watching the boards since the new Flex was announced/released and thought it would fit one of our perk-holes and be worth the pull. Walked in to our local branch on my way home and sat down with a banker and glumly surrendered over my gardening boots and hoe. Spun the wheels and got pretty lucky.

First card ever with Chase but I'd opened a checking account 8 months ago to establish a relationship and DD in half my pay bi-monthly before transferring it back out to Ally to pay bills etc. I'd like to think that helped but who knows?

As always, this board and all the wonderful people here are simply without question... the best. I drifted in here years ago after a divorce/foreclosure/crash of my credit etc and without every one of you I would have been floundering still. Thank you all for sharing your credit experiences, knowledge, hope and wisdom. I watch more from the sidelines now but in my heart I will forever be a MF till they pry my last CC from my dying hands.
