second PenFed credit card approval

I was approved for the PenFed PCR card a few days ago. After reading they use the same credit pull for around 30 days, I decided just for giggles to apply for the PenFed platinum Visa. I did the app and got the message your application is being reviewed and you'll receive an answer in 24-72 hours. i took this to mean a denial was coming. I checked my emails today and was shocked to get another congratulations email from PenFed. They approved me for the platinum visa with a $6,000 sl. Same as the pcr card. Between PenFed and FNBO, in the last week and a half I've added $19,500 to my available credit. That should really drop my overall utilization down.

Nice, grats on the second PenFed card, and these guys are sensitive to new credit so I might garden for 6 months or so before going for more.

Congrats @Sbrav77 - great pickups there.

As for data points, the usual ones people hope for are your relevant scores, overall utilization, any derogs on your reports and their recency, and number of inquiries and/or new accounts in the last 6 and 12 months. That info helps others assess their own odds.
