tjx credit card approval

I told myself no more apps! Then i had a moment of weakness and applied for the tjx card hoping to receive the mastercard because my tu score is the best around 705. I got an instant approval saying congratulations, you are approved for the the tjx rewards credit card, information willl be sent along with you card in 7 business days.

Im assuming its not the mastercard. Kinda bummed but i do shop at tj maxx marshalls and homegoods alot. I was hoping they would give the credit limt and info but nothing other than approved.

Just logged into the website and approved for a 300 dollar limit. I almost want to call and just cancel the card but that would be stupid right?

I started out the same way, the regular store card with a low limit.  However, yesterday I go to log into my account and I get a screen that says "Congratulations!  Because of your excellent account history (had the account maybe 6 months?), we would like to offer you the TJX mastercard!".  Got a $3500 cl and a lower interest rate.  Moral of the story is take care of that store card, pay on time, etc and you stand an excellent chance of being upgraded quicker than you think.  Hang in there and congratulations on the new credit!

Congrats!!! Even if it is a TJX Master Card, it will give you 3X points for purchase at those stores and other places 1X. Since you buy a lot from there, I would not cancel if I were you.

One more good thing: Future CLI are only soft pulls so it won't hurt your credit score......

Congrats!!! I love HomeGoods!!!! This card is on my to-app for list, whats your current scores(if you don't mind) or do they pull TU only?
