Also Amex ED has a 15 month 0 intro APR offer. Forgot to mention that.

I feel like... I might not be good enough for AMEX? I'd love to get in with them, but their PQ site never says anything.

I never got PQ and was approved for my BCE so don't be discouraged.

Yeah, I think 700ish scores are fine with AMEX. The memory of those 500's is holding you back.

What kind of CL are you looking for, SG?

At least 5K.

I'm reconsidering getting a Lowe's card (for the stuff I'll need after I close and move in...like W/D) and thinking it would make more sense to get a 0% deal with a card I can use for other things.

I could use my Freedom and Slate, but I'd rather just add another card.

To be fair all you listed were Freedom and Slate so assuming you did research before asking based on the post it looks as if you only researched one website. We're all here to help but its always appreciated when people take it upon themselves to try and look up the information first

To be fair, I don't need to research anything before posting on a community forum that's supposed to be helpful and supportive and answer my questions. A response that's akin to "go look it up yourself" and suggesting I'm lazy is neither helpful nor supportive. Smiley Happy

You're so right. I still feel unworthy. With every approval I've received up to now, I've thought... no way. No stinkin' way. Smiley Happy

But it is friendly at least. Smiley Tongue

Lowe's sounds like a great start and can be recon to very high CL right off the bat. Go now!

Still didn't like it, and the piling on was right around the corner. This place lately...

I've seen (through my own research - AHEM!) that the Lowe's cards can be reconned to like 25K straight off the bat... and I plan to do that when they approve me with an intitial CL of $500. Haha!

But NO. I can't go now. Must. Wait. Until. I. Close. But you'll be the first to know! Smiley Tongue

You know what.....if thats the way you took it then I guess the shoe must fit but thats not the message I intended to come across. If I wanted to call someone lazy it would be done outright Smiley Happy Good luck with your applications

You're assuming I have no basic knowledge. I do.
