Saw this pop up when logging into the so 1990s Redcard site.  Offer ends March 14.

Yep. Target app alerted me to that offer yesterday. It's got a large list of exclusions on it. 

Basically everything I would actually be interested in getting is excluded.

Obviously there are reasons I am not privy too, but I get amused when along with obvious big ticket items, I am not allowed to get an extra 5% off Tylenol or Motrin which would save an extra 50c at most!

I posted earlier today in the application forum that there is a $40 SUB on the RedCard right now through the 22nd. I'm currently debating whether or not to get their debit card to avoid affecting my 5/24 status. I'm hoping Target is good with fraud if there are ever charges on my checking account. I feel a credit card is more safe.

I miss the days of when you got a coupon and it was good store wide. 

Although it's a Target Fun Run week so they have some awesome deals anyway that are already stacking with the base 5% so I get why they have so many limitations though.

I have my debit RedCard linked to a dedicated bank account with a relatively small balance.   Have to remember to top it up now and then but it limits debit card concerns

$40 sub cert you receive has the exact same restrictions as the cartwheel deal (which has now passed, sorry for being late on this one lol). Still a nice stack!
