Is this going to be Credit Steps bump #2?

No.

The Credit "steps" program only bumps once and generally after that its not going to grow much if at all. 

Best bet is to either contact Cap-1's EO and ask for them to upgrade your card to the no AF QS version or apply for a better card (what Cap-1 considers a better card).

In my experience with Cap-1, starter cards and non-optional AF cards don't grow much (optional AF cards like Venture. will grow)

Don't know anything about the credit steps program.........Cap 1 is a strange bird to me.   They are superb @ approving folks who are rebuilding and tend to overlook extreme baddies but once you are in, it seems like there is little growth compared to other lenders.  They seem to look for excuses not to give CLI's .........just doesn't make sense.........that is why I dumped them myself.  A lot of folks here say heavy usage will ensure luv from Cap1 but it didn't work for me.   Just prior to closing I pushed 2.5K - 3K through on a card with a 2K limit for 3-4 mos and got no CLI from Cap1.

You only get 1 "Credit Steps" increase. Mine was from 2k to 2.5k. Your best bet if you want a card that grows is to PC it to the regular No AF QS or apply for one of their "better " cards.

I got a QS1 with low limit of 500.  I am into my first statement cut in the credit steps.  I asked for CLI and it was declined which I understand. I checked prequal often and this week I am now prequalified for Venture/VentureOne/QS with 16.9% APR on Venture One and the other two at 17.9%.   So I am so glad I only have one Cap One credit steps type card.

Not credit steps. But credit step. Upgrade it now to get higher limits thru love button. 

1 year ago started qs1. 500. 6 months later upgraded to quicksilver. Not 1. No AF raised to 3500

now card at 5500

  had it b1 year. 2 weeks. Good luck.

Only 1 CS's as people stated... Can request a CLI 6 months after your last one though whenever that was and hope cap1 likes you
