2 Amex CLI's within 6 months...is it possible?

I was told by the Amex CSR that there needs to be a gap of six months after getting a CLI before applying for a next one (different amex).

Was anyone able to beat that and get two CLIs in a period of 6 months?

I realized my post was confusing.

I have 2 amex cards and got a credit line increase on one a few months ago (less than 6 months). But woud like to request CLI on the second one. I was told there is a 6 month wait and wanted to see if anyone got 2 CLIs within 6 months.

And everyone is saying, and I agree, that no -- one CLI with Amex every six months, total, no matter how many accounts that you have. I am bummed about it too because I have two Amex cards which both need CLI.
