2 questions about AMEX points

1) My statement closed December 27 and I see a 100,000 points "pending" from my Platinum signup bonus, however, I don't see the 3,000+ points pending from the $3000+ I spent to earn the signup bonus. When do these 3,000 points show up as pending?

2) Just out of curiosity, if I decided not to keep the Platinum because I didn't want to pay the Annual Fee, and I closed the card, what would happen to the "pending" points, assuming that I have another MR-earning card (the EveryDay) to keep the points active?

Those points will be added to your account once you pay the bill and after the next statement generated

Wait till the bonus hits the account and after that as long as you have any card which has MR points you can have them forever
