2022 Affinity FCU Cash Rewards - Q4 Hi5 Bonus Categories

Is there any type of registration required for the Hi5 category bonus? I just today received my Cash Rewards card ("Switch My Card" promo to my rescue) and the info I got don't mention it (just Amazon / bookstores).

No, there is no activation or signup required: "No sign-up needed! Just pay with your Affinity card
from 7/1 thru 9/30 and automatically earn bonus points."

I copied and pasted this from their email regarding bonus categories.

Amazon is not a rotating category. It's always 5% off with this card.

@okurosetta Yep, the 10% was awesome, hit the max very fast last year! Cetainly hope they include it again next quarter.

Oh that makes sense, I read it as you were unaware of the base 5% off for Amazon.  I agree, it would be excellent to have another 5% stacked on top. I watched this card for a little while before I applied, and the 10% off at Amazon was one of the many features that attracted me to this card.

Never got an email about the upcoming cats for Q4, but this is now showing on the official AFCU credit card rewards section for those of us with a CC.  Just login and navigate to the "Card Center" drop-down and select "Credit Card Rewards".

Bummer that Amazon isn't featured this Q4 as was usually the case... that 10% during the holidays was sweet!

Yes double bummer! I got my card after the last Q4 10% off. I am excited about supermarkets being added back though.  It's wide reaching so it's still beneficial for the holidays.
