Believe it or not that was her net take home pay. Her business grossed $5 million last year. She is in the energy aggregating business. Basically at no cost to the customer she can get you a lower delivery rate per Kilowatt Hour than what your electric company is giving you. But she got into a lot of debt as a teen with credit cards and had no idea at the time she had to pay for them. He credit card debt and student loan debt sits at around 50k alone. Butt we worked it out

Sounds like she just needs a budget lol.  Good job helping her out.

Re: 4 Chase Cards?

I got her to by gift cards for all her expenses. She fills up a vanilla reload with her expenses using her credit card than whatever is left goes straight into savings. At the end of the month 33% of her savings for the month goes into paying down her back taxes and debts. The IRS wants there 70k back and they harass her every week.

Re: 4 Chase Cards?

Can one have multiple Chase cards?  yes, Absolutely! But, if ever asked, like on a RECON call, be sure to have an answer ready as to why you have multiple accounts:

Amazon: 3% at Amazon

BP: used to be good, but it has a long history. Waiting for CHIP + PIN before I PC it to something else.

Slate: used to be buy.com; had a BT on it for a long time.

Freedom Visa: love the 5%

Freedom MC: love the 5%, and works at places that don't take Visa (like Sams club)

Sapphire Preferred: just got it this year.

Biz Amazon: 3% at Amazon for business purposes.

Biz Freedom: long business history

Biz Ink Cash (old version): long business history

Ink Plus: new version of Ink Cash, not sure yet if it's worth the annual fee, so not wanting to give up the (old) Ink Cash.

Ink Plus: LLC's first card

Other points to consider:

1. It's not a race - these Chase cards have been in force for varying timeframes, some up to 26 years, and just been PC'd along the way when an older co-branded program was terminated.

2. They like to see usage. Show that you use the cards for those purposes.

You can have them but I would be wary if this will be your 4th in less than a year, its been known to trigger account closures and CLDs,

I currently have three chase cards (one of which is just over a year old, one of which is just over six months old and one of which is a new business card opened last month). I was hoping to pick up a Hyatt card in Jan during my next round of apps. I assume this won't be an issue with chase if all else is in order? If I get multiple chase business cards will that impact my apps for chase personal cards? Does the overall internal credit limit of chase apply just to your personal cards or will it apply to both business and personal cards? (sole prop in this situation).

Starting Score: EQ: 714, TU 684
Current Score: EQ: 725 7/30/13, TU 684 6/2013, Exp 828 5/2018, Last App 8/5/17
Goal Score: 800 (Achieved!) In garden until Sepetember 2019

No, this shouldn't be an issue for you.  Most of the people that have many Chase cards have several of their business cards as well.
