Re: 61 day CLI question

I just waited till my second statement cut. Went from 9600 to 18800. What I want to know is, why can't they just give 18,500 or 19,000. Hell, I would have even done 18,000. I know its silly but it just irks me.

Re: 61 day CLI question

I'm due to ask for the 61 day CLI on 7/22, but I'm going to wait another week or so just to be sure I don't have issues with the timing.  I've used this card heavily (for me) and have made multiple payments during that time as I didn't want to spook them with charging 60-70% of my available CL before I paid anything (first payment was not due until 7/15).  I'll pay it down to $0 on 7/29, and will ask for the CLI after the payment posts - keeping fingers crossed that this will be my first card ever to push me above the $10,000+ CL barrier. Smiley Happy

Re: 61 day CLI question

Just make sure your EX is clean. My EX only has two inquirie, one of which was from applying for the SPG card.

I had about 24% util on the card which didn't stop them from almost doubling my overall credit limit.

Personally, I would recommend just waiting till your 2nd statement cuts.  That way you can be sure.  While it is nice to hit it on exactly the right day, does it really matter?

I agree with this, you can't go wrong.
