I just waited till my second statement cut. Went from 9600 to 18800. What I want to know is, why can't they just give 18,500 or 19,000. Hell, I would have even done 18,000. I know its silly but it just irks me.
I'm due to ask for the 61 day CLI on 7/22, but I'm going to wait another week or so just to be sure I don't have issues with the timing. I've used this card heavily (for me) and have made multiple payments during that time as I didn't want to spook them with charging 60-70% of my available CL before I paid anything (first payment was not due until 7/15). I'll pay it down to $0 on 7/29, and will ask for the CLI after the payment posts - keeping fingers crossed that this will be my first card ever to push me above the $10,000+ CL barrier.
Just make sure your EX is clean. My EX only has two inquirie, one of which was from applying for the SPG card.
I had about 24% util on the card which didn't stop them from almost doubling my overall credit limit.

I agree with this, you can't go wrong.
