70 Point Drop in CK Score

My new chase cc reported 2 days back and today I got a alert from CK. The CK TU score droped 70 points. My limited 6 months history has not baddies, keep util below 10% and 5 HP's. I thought new card generally increased the score due to decerease in util ratio.

Re: 70 Point Drop in CK Score

Don't focus on your CK score -- it is a FAKO.   Just keep paying your CCs on time and you'll be fine.

Re: 70 Point Drop in CK Score

First of all CK is a FAKO but you mentioned limited credit history and 5 HPs. Your profile is more susceptible to new accts and inq's because your file is thin. Garden your new account for at least 6 mos, 1yr would be best so that you're inq's won't count against your FICO

You took and applied great advice given by previous posters......... Bravo

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?
